Travel and Accommodations

Please attempt to arrange your own accommodations with friends or Christadelphian contacts in the Southern Ontario region. Don't forget to arrange a pick-up/drop-off at the airport, accommodations before and after the camp, and a car ride to and from the Conference. This is your responsibility and should be arranged early out of courtesy for anyone who may help you.

Should you require further assistance with airport pickup, accommodations, or a spot on the bus to/from Manitoulin, please fill out the Travel and Accommodation Request Form using Google Forms.

Are You Flying?

We will only provide pickup/drop-off to the airports listed below. Depending on the arrival time and availability of drivers, you may be required to take public transit from the airport to destinations closer to those providing accommodation. If this is the case, we will provide you with the best options.

Please adhere to the following guidelines when booking flights:

Plan to arrive and depart from one of the following airports:
- Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
- Hamilton International Airport (YHM)
- Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ)

Please note: We cannot accommodate pickup from airports in Buffalo, USA. You will need to take public transportation across the border to the Hamilton area.

Arrivals: No later than 8:00 PM on Friday, August 16th
Departures: No earlier than Sunday, August 26th

Operation Monday is a preaching effort that will be held on Monday, August 26th in the Southern Ontario region. Many Youth Conference attendees and other young people typically participate in this event. We encourage you to plan on sticking around in the area for this activity.

Airport Pickup / Drop Off

Attendees needing accommodation and flying into Pearson International Airport (YYZ) or Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) will likely be asked to take the Go Bus from the airport to the Hamilton area, where pickup and accommodation will be provided. See more information below.

For those traveling from Downtown Toronto or flying into the Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ), the Go Train can be taken from Union Station downtown Toronto to Aldershot station in Hamilton, and pickup can be arranged from there. See more information below.

Attendees flying into Hamilton International Airport (YHM) can be picked up directly from the airport.

The Bus to Manitoulin

The Manitoulin Island Bible Camp is approximately a 7-hour trip from Toronto. Unless you arrange your own transportation, you will need to take the school bus that we organize to Manitoulin, which includes a 2-hour ferry trip. The cost to take the Bus & Ferry is a combined fee of $130 ($100 USD) for a round trip or $65 ($50 USD) one-way.  This now includes an approx. $20 fee each way for the ferry. The ferry will be pre-booked and pre-paid for you, and will be confirmed through email by our transportation coordinator. Payment for the bus and ferry can be made either through the registration system in advance of conference, or upon arrival at conference at time of registration.

The Bus Departure time will be confirmed at a later date. A stop will be made along the way to purchase food. Food can also be purchased at the Ferry docks or on board the ferry.

You can register to take the bus by filling out the MYC Travel / Accommodation Request Form, or by adding the bus during the registration process. If the bus is too full, priority will be given to those coming from the furthest away.

Getting Around

From Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Hamilton:
Go Bus (Route 40 Westbound) departs from Terminal 1 every 30-60 minutes and takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to get to Hamilton downtown. If flying into Terminal 3, take the free train at the airport to Terminal 1.

The bus costs approximately $12 each way, e-tickets must be purchased in advance at

Take the “Lakeshore West” Go Train departing from Union Station to Aldershot Station.

Flight Delays / Missing The Bus

In the event that your flight is delayed and you will miss the bus, please notify us ASAP. We will try our best to find an alternate ride to Manitoulin, but we cannot make any guarantees.
